    Still, I find it difficult to sense the meaning of the ego. I mean in a concrete way. What to do with it…

    1. Thank you, Georges, for your interesting comment. The fact that you ask this question is a proof of a great motivation for contemplation. In a way, your question gives the answer then, because when there is this attention to the ego there could be also the realisation of what serves you. The ego comes from the mind. It’s the image you have about yourself. So what to do with it? From all thoughts, don’t give any value to what doesn’t serve you. The ego is unavoidable. But what you feed is your choice. If you ask about my experience, I sense that every thought that is loving serves me. Sometimes people think that thoughts for own benefit serve them. But Life itself will prove the illusion of that statement sooner or later. That’s what Life is there for. To show us. Don’t you conclude then to focus on what real Love is? Practical thoughts are good and useful. But as soon they make you more important … don’t import them.
